This competition is designed to help you get your script in the best possible shape you can, whether it is for our competition or others that you may be submitting to or to prepare you to be read by managers and agents. Please read below to see how we hope to help all our writers accomplish this.
These notes will be highly tactical, meaning that it will be hard, direct recommendations you can use to improve your script immediately. It WON’T be fluffy, screenwriting philosophy. It will be tangible advice you can implement throughout your script immediately.
For $100 here is what you get when you enter this competition:
First, within two weeks you will receive one (1) page of professional level feedback on the first fifteen pages.
You can use these notes to edit or rewrite your script then--
You may resubmit your script at anytime over the entire period of the competition as many times as you like.
Once you resubmit you will get another set of notes. Rinse… Wash… Repeat… You may do this as many times as you like throughout the competition.
Then there are the prizes...
The Winner in each category will receive the following:
Grand Prize of $1000.
A call with one of the judges to give them notes or advice on how to proceed with the script.
Any introductions we can make to producers depending upon the content.
Ongoing follow up and recommendations for future contests.
Second Place will receive:
Prize Money of $500
Free submission to any future competition in 2022.
A phone call with one of the judges to give them notes or advice on how to proceed with the script.
